Adria Pope has a B.F.A in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has taught art through her own fine art curriculum since 2005. Through an after-school program and week-long intensive summer camps she has exposed elementary age children to progressive ways of making and thinking about art. Her philosophy aims to draw out the particular genius of each child and also to provide a knowledge of art history, artists and movements to gain inspiration from. She has taught art at Longfellow Elementary and Learning Circle Preschool and Elementary in Bozeman, Montana. Prior to living in Montana, she was an Art Instructor in Santa Fe, NM with Fine Arts for Children and Teens. She is passionate about making art and art education and lives with artist Will Pope and two children: Oliver and Isabel Pope.
